Job Overview:

Searching for Production Operation Apparel Manager and is responsible for overseeing the production process. Targeting apparel industry, brand merchandising, import industry, screen printing of press machining, items from start to finish. This includes managing the workflow, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The role also requires proficiency in managing API & EDI integrations, and integrate the WMS with API & EDI, which streamline the supply chain, inventory management, and operational workflows. This position plays a key role in optimizing production through seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners.

 

Shift Hr: 8am-5pm M-F
Occasional Saturday's

P​​​ay $28.00 to $33 per hour (Temp2Hire)

Responsibilities- Garment/Apparel/Screen Printing Warehouse Operations Manager experience is required

• Press machines are used in various manufacturing processes, such as:
• Stamping : Cutting out or shaping fabric.. vinyl
• Punching : Creating holes on the fabric.
• Bending : Shaping fabric into curved forms.
• Forming : Shaping fabric into more complex structures.
• Coining : Creating detailed impressions on a fabric surface.
•  
• Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials.
• Manage the entire supply chain process from material procurement to final delivery to customers, ensuring that the process is smooth and cost-effective.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and vendors to monitor lead times, delivery schedules, and ensure production deadlines are met.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and update senior management on performance metrics such as production volume, waste, and downtime.
• Use data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
• Lead meetings with the team to discuss production goals, obstacles, and updates.

Skills:

• Proficiency in EDI= Electronic Data Exchange) system to exchange business documents and operational data with external partners.
• API, WMS systems and data visualization techniques.
• Strong understanding of distribution center operations and retail management principles.
• Experience in logistics, process improvement, and analytics.
• Excellent supplier management skills, including contract negotiation and relationship building.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
